You may check-in from 5.00 p.m. to your room. If you require an earlier check-in this may be arranged although this may incur a charge. If you are planning to arrive after 7.00 p.m. or are delayed please let us know to avoid losing your reservation.

On the day of departure rooms must be vacated no later than 10.00 am. Later departure times can be arranged but may incur a charge.

In line with current legislation The Old Rectory is non-smoking. Guests may smoke in the garden area only. Guests smoking in the rooms will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

We reserve the right to charge the full room tariff should we not be able to re-sell the room due to any of the following: smoking in a room, breakages rendering the room incomplete to re-let, specialist room cleaning including carpet cleaning.

If you have any special requirements, such as diet, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate these.

Booking deposit is usually taken via credit/debit card. Debit/credit card details are required at the time of booking.

A 30% deposit of the total booking value is due at the time of booking. Bookings made less than 7 days before arrival must be paid for in full. We regret to mention all deposits are non-refundable and may only be transferable at our discretion.

We are able to accept payment in cash, cheque and credit/debit card.

For bookings cancelled giving at least 120 hrs notice, this will result in loss of the deposit paid. Cancellations made less than 120 hrs before arrival will be liable to full payment.   

Please note that we are unable to accept American Express.
